Located in New York’s oldest moulding and lumber mill, Adriatic Wood has over three decades of experience manufacturing custom mouldings and distributing over 60 different hardwood species. Our challenge, to design and develop a modern site that establishes Adriatic Wood as the leading hardwood lumber mill in the New York area.

Building a brand strategy

Our in-depth questionnaires allowed us to develop a keen understanding of Adriatic’s core values and metrics for success to develop an accurate brand strategy.

Materials to move forward

Routine client kickoff meetings help us ascertain mandatory design elements and solidify areas of exploration before creative development.

Construction of the creative

Once the creative brief is approved by the client, we use our launch meeting to develop creative next steps and timing of the project.

To rebuild a brand identity means reexamining all areas that include design, colors, font and voice.


The old colors were dated and dull. We wanted to better match the darker blue colors of the Adriatic paired with a vibrant red.



Matching the historic script logo font with a modern set of typefaces was imperative to balance the connection to the company’s history while moving the brand into the future.

Launching Adriatic’s Site

Once Q&A and beta testing are complete we are ready to launch Adriatic’s site. To help our client seamlessly maintain the site from the back-end we provide instructional videos along with online guidance. Similar to our other clients, we also keep the doors open, if any future upgrades are needed.
