She helps women and girls exit systems of prostitution through her work as an activist founding Apne Aap, the anti-sex trafficking NGO. She’s an accomplished painter, with pieces telling the story of her history and the events she’s witnessed. If that wasn’t enough, she’s also an author, having recently released the novel I Kick and I Fly, a 2024 YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults Selection.
