A website to increase recognition for Salonga Law’s life-changing immigration services

Key Takeaways:

There are over 30 million immigrants in the US workforce. While our country benefits from their expertise, knowledge, and cultural background, we don’t see their complicated journey to get here. But that’s at the heart of Junoetia Salonga’s work. She’s an experienced immigration attorney and owner of Salonga Law. She built her New York-based practice from the ground up, working tirelessly day in and day out to provide smart and cost-effective immigration solutions and personalized representation.

Salonga Law came to us needing a new website to increase her name recognition, attract more clients, and differentiate herself from competitors. Our team was excited to take this project on because of her groundbreaking work helping people start a new life in the US. We wanted to nail the voice alongside the design.

Our team was the perfect fit because we excel at creating law firm websites that cater to a specific niche. We’ve worked with many legal clients in the past, including Cordatis (practice in federal, state, and local procurement, administrative, and contract law), Lambrou Law (trial law such as medical malpractice and wrongful death), and the Danow Group (regulatory law for alcohol, food, and cannabis businesses)

The company uses modern tech like client portals and Calendly, responds quickly to inquiries, and integrates a personal approach to every case. They needed a website to provide detailed information on services to their broad target audience. In many situations, their clients require immediate help, so it’s critical to their work to build a website where they can reach her fast.

Their immigration services cover small to midsize businesses nationwide: think startup founders, owners, and hiring personnel seeking talent outside the US. Additionally, they provide immigration services to highly accomplished business, arts, and tech professionals. Another focus of their business is on young families in the city and suburbs. Salonga Law is a voice of the people, working with anyone who calls the US their home.

With such a large target market, our designer had to map out a professional UX design that was easy to navigate so that each piece of the pie could be reached. Salonga Law had a very specific site wishlist, including:

  • Client Portal (via MyCase)
  • Appointment scheduling (Calendly)
  • An about us with her attorney profile and testimonials
  • A resources page for FAQ, immigration news, and a blog

Salonga Law came to us with a professional logo and brand, so our designer’s job was to leverage that look and feel into the website. They utilized the goldenrod yellow for eye-catching CTAs (calls to action), guiding the target market on where to move forward with Salonga Law’s services. The plum color from the logo test is used in icons, headers, and other stand-out text, creating a seamless flow from the logo to the rest of the site.

The hero section is the first thing a potential client sees when visiting the website. It must be a direct statement encapsulating how law firms operate. The practice area needs to be communicated immediately to ensure the potential client knows they are contacting the correct type of lawyer.

That’s why we went with the phrase “Ready to Serve Your Immigration Needs;” there’s no mistaking that Solanga Law is an immigration law firm. The additional copy hits on the frustrations clients face in immigration so they can feel reassured that Salonga Law has their back. Our team utilized professional photography throughout the site as well, with a picture of New York City (you can’t miss the Empire State Building!) in the hero to show the law firm’s location. Salonga Law is a neighborhood service, which we understand since e9digital is also located in NYC.

A website should communicate the most critical information on the homepage in case a visitor doesn’t have time to view the interior pages. The rest of the homepage follows e9digital’s best practices, with sections including:

  • An about section that offers more details about the law firm.
  • A services section that lists six services, using the emblem from the logo as a bullet point for a professional look.
  • Social proof that showcases reviews from past customers.
  • A final CTA–once they’ve read all of the information on the home page, they’re more likely to reach out.
  • A footer that holds any other information a visitor might be looking for, such as the client portal, office hours, or an address.

Over 90% of website pages never receive organic traffic

When creating a website, a designer must put the target market first. Our designers build interior pages that speak to questions and concerns people in the immigration process may have about a product or service. Additionally, these pages remove any apprehension someone may have about contacting Salonga Law if they are not citizens. By doing this, they create content that’s original and high quality.

We also submit sitemaps to Google to ensure everything is appropriately indexed. These steps result in organic SEO (search engine optimization), making it more likely for a page to rank in Google’s search engine (eventually, these things take time!). This makes it easier for Salonga Law’s clients to find her.

For law firms, practice pages are a must-have. They outline your services further and help your target market understand if you’re the right kind of lawyer for their needs. For Salonga Law, our copywriter and designer crafted six unique service pages. Each page offers:

  • A detailed description of the service offered.
  • A carousel of past client reviews related to the service.
  • A CTA inviting the visitor to schedule an appointment.
  • Links to view related services that the firm offers.
