Creating an attractive website for private investment firm Alexandrite
Our designers at e9digital can handle any project, big or small. Jason Brown at Alexandrite Management came with a small request: create a three-page website for his private investment firm.
Hedge funds and private equity firms like his don’t need to worry about SEO or providing a ton of information to inform their target audience. Some of these websites don’t have anything other than a landing page! All Jason needed was for us to rebuild his current website on our server, redesign the home and contact us pages, and carry over the legal page.
However, small doesn’t equal easy. The design needed a refresh with modern sensibility to elevate the firm and match the caliber of their investors. Even though a company may be tempted to use a DIY option for this type of website, Jason knew that a pre-built design wouldn’t cut it for the quality his investors expect.
Jason wanted a digital agency he knew he could trust, so he turned to e9digital because of the relationship we’d built. Implementing sleek animation so Alexandrite shines bright like a diamond
Alexandrite Management’s name comes from the Alexandrite gem, which has properties similar to a diamond. In daylight, it’s green, but indoors, it’s purple. The logo reflects this duality, so our designer wanted to incorporate that into the home page.
A scaled-down version of the logo gradually takes over the right side of the home page with a three-second animation. Interactive elements like this boost engagement by 50%, impressing the visitors and encouraging them to take action. The same green and purple duality surrounds the Contact Us button, creating a seamless, elevated look across the page for investors.
The website follows the natural client journey for investors. Once the investor clicks, the Contact Us button enlarges and turns green, transporting them to the contact form. On the page, it’s a simple form with name, email, and message required, with the option to include their phone number. The company’s phone number and email are also there, so the investor can quickly get in touch via their preferred method.
